Super Bowl Sunday, part 1: racist Patriots and why the Saints are not marching in

Did you know sportsball is an inherently racist sport? The high salary pay-outs can only do so much to mask the true nature of the game, which is streamlined to appeal to racists.

The game usually features large, caricatured blacks who take orders in a field and fight over possession of a primitive thing called a "rock", which they generally try to steal from one another, hitting on all the stereotypes. Even more racist is the fact that the actions on the field are generally coordinated by a white playcaller, sometimes known as a slavedriver, who distributes the rock-thing. The slavedriver gives the orders that from commanders on the sideline who are generally old white men, referred to as slave overseers.

Responding to anti-racist protests, sportsball's organizers have caved and begun to make changes to the game. But most franchises have scoffed at the idea of implementing Affirmative Action to replace the white slavedriver playcallers and overseers. One reason for the resistance is that whites continue to be most successful overall in these positions. Perceptions are likely fueled by memories of the most successful slave driver and overseer dynasties:

The last photo features Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, the slaverdriver and overseer duo that leads one of the most racist, ultra-right and nationalistic clubs in all of football: the Patriots.

For example, under the impression that Donald Trump is a defender of white interests, slaverdriver Brady was quick to vocalize his support:

None of this is surprising, really; the Patriots are based out of New England, a region that is almost entirely neo-Nazi because of the crippling lack of diversity.

The Patriots’ logo leaves no confusion as to what the team stands for. First, there is the proud, Anglo-featured male face in the logo, a tribute to the patriarchal European settlers who came to the New World and established a Republic where they could own slaves and genocide the Asiatic tribesmen who stood in the way of building a Greater Reich. The red-white-blue color combination was lifted from the flag of the country they established. The white star in the logo proudly broadcasts the idea that only white men can guide a team - whether on the football field, or with the exploration and settlement of North America, distant galaxies or stars:

A few years ago, the Patriots' victorious title run triggered a white power parade in New England:

Because football is a game for and by racists, many were anticipating that, this year, New England would advance to the championship and play an equally racist club, the Slavers. When it comes to racism, the team name speaks for itself. But, for those who may not know, the Slavers also operate out of New Orleans - the famous slave port of the Deep South - and The Slavers chose the Fleur-de-Lis as their logo because it loudly proclaims the city’s commitment to racism:

As reported by the Media Research Center:

Slave historian Ibrahima Seck explained to WWLTV the fleur-de-lis is part of slave history. According to Seck, the fleur-de-lis was implemented as part of the Louisiana “black code,” which were the rules for the French slave populations throughout the world. Seck stated, as a punishment for a slave running away, slaves “would be taken before a court and the sentence would be being branded on one shoulder and with the fleur de lis, and then they would crop their ears.”

Slaver fans and residents of New Orleans proudly raise the Fleur-de-Lis banner, well aware that it stands for the enslavement of blacks under white power:

Aside from adopting the Fleur-de-Lis and flying it everywhere, the city brands the symbol on local sportsball players to signify that they are but a possession:

In New Orleans, it is not uncommon to see boisterous racists who support everything sportsball stands for, including the idea that blacks are property. You can usually find a few racist skinheads in the mix, proudly wearing the symbol of their ideology for all to see:

Other times, fans show their support by mocking slave ebonics-lingo or wearing blackface:

Who dat, homie g?<

Blackface is fairly common in the stadium, too

Support could even mean wearing racist country music hats your proudly-chosen Slavers number 88 jersey:

The 88 on the jerseys stands for [H]eil [H]itler

Far-right, religious-extremist racists are almost always spotted at the Slavers’ games:

White power parades are held nearby from time to time, too.

Under ordinary circumstances, the NFL might have considered trying to appease its base and put the two most racist teams head to head for the title. But, due to the boycotts and protests which unsigned hero superstar quarterback Colon Kaepernick began organizing last March, the NFL is under growing pressure to modify its product. In particular, the protesters are demanding that the NFL implement Affirmative Action and terminate its relationship with the Slavers and Patriots. Perhaps the first step towards reform is to keep the hated Fleur-de-Lis off the television broadcast in the NFL’s most widely-televised game of the season. With this in mind, only now does it truly makes sense that officials helped the Los Angeles Caravans defeat the New Orleans Slavers with a critical missed call.

It remains to be seen whether the NFL will act on pressures to clean up football's image and remove the Slavers symbol forever. Perhaps this should be our first priority, instead of concentrating on removing the much less visible Confederate imagery:

There is no place for hate symbols in the public sphere - especially on the football field. The Fleur-de-Lis belongs in a museum.
