Of course, this should have been the initial reaction to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. There also should have been international travel bans for all but necessary business matters, and mandatory quarantines for foreign guests arriving at American airports - as we initially proposed. Had that protocol been followed, we never would have had to shut down the American economy. In fact, we also could have transitioned to having all necessary jobs returned to U.S. shores - like they should be, anyway.
But whatever. Trump was among the few Western leaders to even consider travel bans amidst the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. And, while the shutdown on immigration comes a bit late, we will take it. Thank you, Mr. Trump!
To all the people downplaying the virus and attacking my views concerning it: where do you stand now? And, finally, to the Democrats: are you now going to abandon your curfews, social distancing and lockdowns to demonstrate your conviction that putting an end to immigration because of the virus is completely unnecessary? It is your move:
