The situation in South Africa is heating up now that the Legislature has approved a plan for the government to seize land owned by whites farmers without compensation. The driving argument is that the white farmers are the spawn of the colonialists who settled in South Africa, who took the land and began using it for their own posterity without any sort of compensation being paid to the natives. The idea is that the land is now going to be returned to those people, the black "indigenous people" of South Africa, as a reparation.
