Today is December 8, 2016.
On this day, more than three decades ago, Beatles' frontman John Lennon died. As a tribute, artist "Millennial Woes" revisited a popular song of Lennon's and updated the lyrics to reflect the current state of affairs in Europe, based on the premise that the 1968 movement the Beatles were a part of was destructively flawed, and is largely responsible for where we stand today in the West.
As a side note, there has been speculation that Lennon became a supporter of Ronald Reagan in his later years of life; if so, who knows what Lennon would think of the above piece and the current crisis in Europe, considering that Lennon's views transformed dramatically over time. To his credit, he was a thinking man. Even if it took drugs to get him there.
