    They both are unique styles, really. And yes, these cultures do say something about the world view, etc. of the people who invented them.

    I suppose one should not be surprised to see the obsession with order, organization, asymmetry and complexity in the German examples. But it seems that the culture which produced this culture is, for better or for worse, too boring and stiff for the new generation.
