The 'me-too' chorus collides with itself over Biden's pawing - and everyone is a 'bot'

The time has come to believe all women - except the ones who call out the establishment's favorite groper, Joe Biden:

Now that Biden is in the cross-hairs of a sexual-assault allegation, the response is to quote him and just remind the public that those dastardly Republicans would probably be happy if he were to go down. See, for example, this article by NBC in Baltimore:
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Friday categorically denied allegations from a former Senate staffer that he sexually assaulted her in the early 1990s, saying "this never happened.” Biden's first public remarks on the allegation come at a critical moment for the presumptive Democratic nominee as he tries to relieve mounting pressure after weeks of leaving denials to his campaign.

“I’m saying unequivocally, it never, never happened,” Biden said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Biden said he will ask the National Archives to determine whether there is any record of such a complaint being filed, but he said repeatedly that he doesn't believe such a record exists.

"The former staffer has said she filed a complaint back in 1993,” Biden said. “But she does not have a record of this alleged complaint. The papers from my Senate years that I donated to the University of Delaware do not contain personnel files.”

Biden said, “There is only one place a complaint of this kind could be – the National Archives. The National Archives is where the records are kept.”

Republicans worried about President Donald Trump's increasingly precarious political standing are seizing on the allegation to portray Democrats as hypocrites who only defend women who allege wrongdoing against conservatives.

True, Biden's opponents are opportunists. But notice how differently the media and politicians have responded to these allegations against Biden as compared to those against, for example, Trump, or the Supreme Court pick, Brett Kavanaugh. In fact, that discrepancy is exactly what Biden's opponents in the Republican Party seem focused on:

Political cartoonists have picked up on this peculiarity:

It will be interesting to see what happens, considering Kavanaugh was put through a legal investigation and a polygraph. He was also greeted by this:

But I highly suspect a lopsided difference between the treatment of Kavanaugh and Biden - already, we even have discrepancies on Wikipedia, beginning with coverage of "sexual assault allegations" in one case and "allegations of inappropriate physical contact" in the other:

In a turn for the bizarre, those who were presumably once calling for blood and shrieking over Kavanaugh are now calling everyone who wants to go after Biden a bot. Even if you were a screenwriter, you would have a hard time coming up with a plot twist development so outrageous:

We have basically gone from "believe all women" to "anyone who believes all women is a Russian bot"...

At least some people are able to wrap their head around the fact that we have entered a 'twilight zone' situation:

Literally:

Tune in next time to see how much farther we can venture past peak ridiculousness as the American collapse approaches.
