Demonstrating the crushing power of corporate monopolism, Silicon Valley elite continue to manipulate the public forum and scrub it clean of true democracy.
Just this past week, Twitter was accused of deleting the social media accounts of two major officials who are running for office in the UK:
Russian news agencies were quick to point out the irony in view of the two-year, American liberal-left witchhunt which had been based on allegations that Russia rigged the 2016 U.S. Presidential election.
Now, it seems President Trump's own son is getting the censor's treatment and is the latest casualty of big tech's arbitrary purges. This time, it appears Facebook is the culprit:
The rise of internet censorship has really spiraled out of control since I first examined the issue in 2011. Back then, Google - which incidentally hosts my site - was the biggest offender. But I actually did eventually receive an apology of sorts, and my accounts were eventually reinstated. What has transpired since that time, however, has given me new reason to question the direction we are heading. I would like to share one experience with you.
It began on a summer day while I was enjoying a stroll through Foggy Bottom - or, at least, trying to. I was feeling anxious. The reason being, Steve Scalise and five others had just been shot by a left-wing activist, and I had just seen a post on Facebook with twenty-nine likes that, for me, really tore off the mask concealing what Trump's enemies were pushing for. I decided to report the post, which was dangerous enough to even come to the attention of law enforcement. Imagine my shock as I discovered that Facebook had no qualms with the post whatsoever:
As a free speech advocate, I was willing to swallow the bullet. But take a look at the following posts, which were banned by Facebook:
What is going on here?
I cannot really see how this censorship is protecting anyone from the direct threat of violence. This looks more like ideological censorship, if anything. If so, I have a hard time believing that the Founding Fathers intended for our freedom of speech to be controlled and directed by a handful of Silicon Valley elite, evening once those elite were powerful enough to form monopolies and operate borderlessly - and were able to use their control to promote their open border agenda. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram - they have all become an echo chamber for the same, tired opinions that nobody can post an answer to without being flagged for "trolling" or being a "bot" or barred from logging in without providing personal details like a phone number - which, incidentally enough, seems to have come about due to the allegations for Russian "bots" influencing elections. Meanwhile, it is totally clear who is influencing elections: it's the ones who accuse others of influencing elections.
Free speech is dying under the weight of corporatism. Wake up.

"Facebook-owned site Instagram removed a post by wounded Army veteran Omar Avila featuring a picture of Avila with Donald Trump Jr. for allegedly violating the social media platform’s guidelines.
In a post to his own Instagram page, Donald Trump Jr. recently claimed that Instagram removed a post by his friend Omar Avila, an Army veteran who lost his right leg and suffered third and fourth-degree burns across 75 percent of his body. Avila is now an avid hunter and second amendment advocate who met Trump Jr. at an NRA show where they took a photo together. Shortly after Avila posted this photo, it was allegedly removed by Instagram for violating the site’s terms of service.
