After all, the only thing the "scientists" behind this "study" did was twist the perception of commonly-known generalizations and portray those generalizations in a race-baiting framework. We already know that White people typically live outside the city, and that areas outside the city tend to have cleaner air; we already know that those same White people typically commute to work in the city, and do so on a regular basis, bringing pollution from their vehicles with them. These phenomena have existed for nearly 100 years and only become more pronounced since the time that certain Blacks began to riot and loot in cities like Los Angeles and Detriot, prompting most Whites to move as far away as possible. What have these "scientists" done other than take already-known data and make an even broader generalization about "what races do"?
But there is even more going on - and going wrong - with this "study" because the other air pollution that city-dwellers breathe in is largely a result their own behavior. After all, city-dwellers spend at least as much time outdoors as they do indoors and, as the Journal of Urban Health noted in 2007, "some of the pollutants that impact [inner city] air quality include:
Notably, cigarette smoke contributes the same air pollution particulate matter (PM 2.5) featured in the study and, when it comes to second-hand smoke, Blacks are generally exposed to more cigarette smoke than Whites:
I guess that is the White man's fault for smoking in the homes of Blacks in the major cities where Blacks - and specifically Blacks - congregate:
Next, note how the "study" blaming Whites for the most pollution-generating consumption removes Asians as an explicit comparative group. In order to understand why, let's have a closer look at Asian consumer behavior in the United States:
See anything that pops out at you, like oh, I don't know, the average Asian consuming more than the average White? Well, let us go back to the article to see how facts like this were manipulated, because here comes the "gotcha":
In other words, because Asians are only 5%-6% of the population of the United States, they are a minority, and their high consumption totals can be lumped together with the lower Black and Latino consumption figures to compute a "minority" average (Blacks and Latinos are still a U.S. minority) which is thus below the average White consumption total. Did you see what the "scientist" did there? He made the figures for the average Asian's consumption disappear so Whites can be targeted for causing "the most pollution" on average and the White-bashing narrative can proceed as normal. This, of course, distracts us from what really is going on:

Holler when you find the first city in the above list which is in a country where Hispanics, Blacks or some other group besides Whites are not the majority.

Where is the mainstream media report hamming this message into the mainstream?
Of course you will not find it. The only narrative permitted is that everything is White man's fault - collectively - and nobody else's, especially not collectively. We have all seen it before:
"Global warming is White man's fault"
"White man is polluting when he drives to work."
Believe it or not, these are actual arguments; it is not enough that White man is driving to work to get money to pay his taxes so the government can provide trillions in welfare packages for some of the biggest pollution offenders:
White man should be taxed for driving to work, too. And yet, the same countries he funds are doing next to nothing to even stem their population growth which would go a long way towards reducing their so-called carbon footprint. Take a look at the situation in Africa. Or in Nigeria, for example:

Note the pattern: once again, it is places where Hispanics, Blacks or some other group besides Whites are the majority.

Forget the fact that it took nearly 150 years for the global population to grow from 1 to 2 billion, a mark reached a century ago, and has since ballooned to 7.5 billion; the elites in their ivory towers at the Brookings Institute know the Earth can sustain 10 billion. How about 11 billion? No problem. 12 billion? No problem, keep 'em coming. Accordingly, White man is asked to send even more money - donation money - to make it possible for the populations in these troubled areas grow even larger. If White man does not send this extra money, he is made to feel like a bad person - if he does act, however, he is scolded for being "paternalistic". White man is expected to open up his country's borders to these masses.
But the truth is, no matter what is done, White man cannot escape being hated and blamed for everything.

The air that Americans breathe isn't equal. Blacks and Hispanics disproportionately breathe air that's been polluted by non-Hispanic whites, according to a study. This new research quantifies for the first time the racial gap between who causes air pollution – and who breathes it.
"Pollution is disproportionately caused by whites, but disproportionately inhaled by black and Hispanic minorities," the study said.
Poor air quality remains the largest environmental health risk in the United States, the study warns. In fact, with 100,000 deaths per year, more Americans die from air pollution than car crashes and murders combined.
“Even though minorities are contributing less to the overall problem of air pollution, they are affected by it more,” said study co-author Jason Hill, an engineering professor at the University of Minnesota, who is white. “Is it fair (that) I create more pollution and somebody else is disproportionately affected by it?”
The type of pollution analyzed in the study is known as "PM 2.5" – tiny grains of "particulate matter" that are especially dangerous to human health because they can get deep into our lungs.
Those particles, at 2.5 micrometers far smaller than the width of a human hair, are produced by car tailpipes, power plant smokestacks and burning materials.
The study found that black and Hispanic Americans bear a "pollution burden:" Blacks are exposed to about 56 percent more pollution than is caused by their consumption.
For Hispanics, it is slightly higher – 63 percent. However, non-Hispanic whites experience a "pollution advantage," meaning they breathe about 17 percent less air pollution than whites cause. The data scientists used in their study is driven by disparities in the amount of goods and services that groups consume and in the exposure to the resulting pollution.

Note the pattern: once again, it is places where Hispanics, Blacks or some other group besides Whites are the majority.
Meanwhile, we are told it is a tragedy when even more people from these countries are unable to come into the world:
Forget the fact that it took nearly 150 years for the global population to grow from 1 to 2 billion, a mark reached a century ago, and has since ballooned to 7.5 billion; the elites in their ivory towers at the Brookings Institute know the Earth can sustain 10 billion. How about 11 billion? No problem. 12 billion? No problem, keep 'em coming. Accordingly, White man is asked to send even more money - donation money - to make it possible for the populations in these troubled areas grow even larger. If White man does not send this extra money, he is made to feel like a bad person - if he does act, however, he is scolded for being "paternalistic". White man is expected to open up his country's borders to these masses.
But the truth is, no matter what is done, White man cannot escape being hated and blamed for everything.
There are people who even appear to be cheering for White man's replacement:
If White man is such a problem, maybe they should just get rid of him. Oh wait, that is pretty much exactly what is happening:
"Muh multicultural paradise" - filled with African and Asian overpopulation, pollution and poverty.
And to think we could be living on the moon and well on our way to Mars by now...
...except we decided to dump trillions upon trillions of dollars into a black hole, helping people who hate us - and importing millions of people to replace us because employing them is more profitable and the "right thing to do."
