When home was a home...and the others left us alone

Yesterday evening I was bored and decided to watch the film Home Alone. If you want a quick holiday laugh or are up for a bit of 1990's nostalgia, this is the film to see.

The film is of high anthropological value. I noted the following differences from most films of today:

• the abundance of European culture references and white characters, which is directly proportional to the lack of non-white culture references and characters
  
  
• the Church is portrayed as good, the family as important
  
  
• the promotion of, and emphasis on, morality, sacrifice and traditionalism as interrelated concepts - i.e. Kevin maturing from a helpless vegetable to become the patriarchal defender of his family/his territory of "house"
  
  

This film captures an era of wealth, culture and such promise - before America was swamped by illegal invaders, before the white population started to find itself being replaced, before American culture was saturated with urban-spawned nonsense, before it became cool to be a gang-banging thug, before traditionalism lost its centrality in film, before our nation turned into a police state (Kevin's family switches plane tickets, which is now illegal, and arrives 45 minutes before their flight, which is now impossible given security checks), before 9/11 made us second-guess flying, before the dollar's decline (when flying a large family to Europe, as the film depicts, was feasible and symbolic of American wealth), before a road trip across the country cost a fortune (I thought of this when the film got to where Kevin's mom hitched a ride with the Polka band)...yes, that was the way things were in 1990. This was the America we inherited from our forefathers; given everything that has taken place since 1990, I can't help but wonder what sort of America we'll be leaving behind...

Is the struggle of our people written in the runes?

The last common ancestor of today's European-blooded peoples? That would be the people who once inhabited the Scandinavian isles. By 400 AD, they had sailed across the Baltic Sea, travelled through Europe and ventured as far south as the Black Sea. Everywhere they went, they took their culture with them, including the runes.

The runes are a series of symbolic inscriptions. Said to capture the natural and mysterious forces of the universe, they provide a portal into the world of the ancient peoples who designed them.

The original runic sequence consists of twenty-four runes divided into three rows of eight runes each. Each rune has a special place within this sequence. However, there is some debate over the order of the last two runes, Dagaz and Othala (Othila, Odal). This is particularly interesting, because while the first 8 runes speak of the world's creative forces and the next 8 about world-altering forces, the last 8 runes tell the tale of the Scandinavian-descended European peoples, our "white" Volk...and the order of the last two runes changes the outcome of their story in entirely.

• The Dagaz rune represents change - just as the day gives way to the night and there is an altered state of continuation.
  
  
• The Othala rune represents our people and denotes heritage, rite, homeland and inherited blood-affinity.
  
  

If the symbol of change, Dagaz, comes after the symbol of our people, Othala, (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), then it seems likely that the story of our people is destined to end as the changes of Dagaz descend upon us. This is a gloomy prediction, but it is nevertheless compatible with what old Germanic mythology tells us about Ragnarök, the climatic "endtimes" as envisioned by our pagan, rune-using ancestors. It is said that Ragnarök will mark a time of great peril for our people, during which our very existence will be jeopardized. Think about the current crisis, where there are signs that our people could be approaching their end: Internationalism is threatening our ethnic communities and many have turned to backwards ways (crime, drugs, etc.); real culture has been replaced with materialistic mass culture, and many don’t give a damn about who they are, where they come from, or the advice of their ancestors; our people are not replacing themselves and the family unit is being destroyed. If all of these trends continue, so will our gradual and irreversible descent into an abyss of self-destruction.

However, our people could rebound. This fits well with the interpretation that Dagaz is the 23rd rune and the Othala rune comes last (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10). One could argue that our people, as represented by the Othala rune, are destined to spring back and be a part of what comes after Dagaz, both literally (in reference to the Othala rune) and figuratively. In this scenario, one could surmise that our people will be a part of a new beginning that is also said to follow the terrible crisis of Ragnarök. In this instance, this new beginning would be an era in which the life, strength and the spirit of our people lives on.

So which will it be, rebirth or destruction? In how we elect to deal with the current crisis, I believe the choice is ours entirely.

Seek out professionals of color

Can't take credit for this tip but I heard about it from a book

Barbara Mathias. One of their tips was to seek out professionals of
color, i.e. your pediatrician, dentist, lawyer, contractor, piano teacher
etc. When children see people of all colors in lots of different roles,
they are not so quick to assume things like, "Oh black people can't
be doctors. I can't be a doctor, because I have never seen one who
looks like me."

Never stop dismantling your own racist beliefs

Last fall, my son Buster was a high school senior. We were
doing some college visits as part of his application process. [...]

duck pond, driving slowly and still half in a stupor of academic
privilege, we saw a raggedy group of people standing near the water
throwing bread at the ducks. Even at a distance I could see that they
were black and youngish. Without thinking I blurted out “What are
those kids doing coming on campus to mess around at the duck
pond?” Buster didn’t say anything for a few beats as we drove closer. It
became really obvious all of a sudden that it was actually a family
group of prospective students and parents just like us, only black.
They were dressed better than us, in fact, and exploring the campus
on foot to enjoy its beauty. Buster laughed out loud, realizing my
foolish and racist outburst at the same second that I was flooded
with shame. He said, “I can’t believe you just said that. You think
because they are black they don’t belong here?” I said “You are right.
I can’t believe I said it either. It just came out of my mouth.
How racist and ignorant! They are just like us, visiting the campus.
I am so ashamed of myself.” He just nodded and kept chuckling. [...]
Our job is to teach them the tools to dismantle it, in our own fumbling,
open-hearted way.

Don’t let others decide your child’s ethnicity for them
As a first time parent of a newborn, the lesson I've had
reinforced at this tender age is the following: start early and often.
Don't assume that as a parent you can wait until your child is of
school age to discuss race. [...] If your child is of a minority ethnic group,
be prepared to assert that ethnicity as you choose, and later, as your child chooses,
I asserted my daughter's ethnicity when she was 5 days old.
While signing final paperwork for her hospital discharge, I noticed
that a form filled out in the delivery room listed her "color or race" as
"Cauc" - for Caucasian. It was a blank space, so the "check only one"
scenario wasn't a factor. In a strange reversal of the one-drop-rule,
the ethnicity of my mother (European-American, and therefore
"Caucasian") and my spouse (Latino/Puerto Rican) was enough to
"qualify" my daughter as Caucasian, despite my obviously not-white
appearance. The form was filled out by a labor and delivery nurse, whom I'm
sure meant no harm and was judging my by daughter's 5-minute-old
appearance. The form may only be for the hospital records. But
when the form was left on the counter, I simply crossed out
"Caucasian" and wrote in "multiracial." It doesn't begin to describe my
daughter or her family ties, and it may be only a footnote on some
future statistic about births and deaths in my state, my county, or maybe
just my hospital. But it's a start.

I think the best way to teach about racism is to approach it in a
similar manner to how one might begin talking to ones child about
other things that may (or may not) make a parent feel a little
uncomfortable to discuss, like sex. Both topics are big issues...but
simply a part of life. A preschooler might want to know things
like why MLK had to fight for freedom in the first place [...]
As the parents of African American children, we're also careful
not to dwell on the fact that our ethnic group has been considered
inferior, because we don't want them to become so self-conscious of
others’ biases that it limits their ability. Instead, we choose to focus
less on racism and more on the accomplishments of African
Americans and the aspects of our culture that have been written out
of standard education. We know that racism will eventually rear its
ugly head; we try our best to give them the ammunition to confront it
head-on when it does. Yet people of color aren't the only ones who need
to understand prejudice. White children should be taught about it too, so that by
the time it comes up in school, they are sensitized to the issue, not
dismissive of it. And like sex, if a child has reached 9 or 10 without
ever asking about it, it's probably a good idea to go ahead and have
"the big talk". At that age, a fifteen minute history lesson should do
the trick.

This is an interesting development, because recently, I received the following notice:

So can we believe the above message, or is it just a hoax forwarded by those who hate Thor Steinar and the ethnic awareness many, including myself, believed the company stood for?

In the Impressum, both Meusel and Zaroni have the same address in Germany; this means either Meusel is using a pseudonym in order to protect his livelihood from left-wing terrorism (which would mean the e-mail above is a hoax) or Thor Steinar is an Arabic company pretending to be something it is not: Germanic, Nordic, etc. Should the latter turn out to be true, then the timing of a recent judicial decision, which overturned a previous decision banning the old Thor Steinar logo, is indeed suspicious. Could it be that "Meusel", who just might be Faysal al Zarooni, showed his true colors to the court and the court laughed right along with him...and at the patriotic German people buying his clothes? If so, then the message would be clear: Germanic-themed brands are taboo and nearly illegal if produced by Germans who support pro-German causes...but perfectly fine if they are owned by Arabs in Dubai and part of an operation making foreigners rich. The joke would be on us.




If a Thor Steinar affiliate has information regarding this situation, now would be the time to say something. The only people who buy this label buy it for a reason, I am sure of that. If the company has nothing to hide, it would be wise to come forward and combat these rumors. I, for one, will not patronize the store until this issue is cleared up.

The next session of Congress will include 45 Jewish lawmakers, a new record, after Democrats Alan Grayson of Florida and John Adler of New Jersey took two House seats from the Republican column.

Jared Polis, also a Democrat, was widely expected to win his Colorado House seat to match the previous record, set in the 2006 elections.

The House will have 32 Jewish members. Only the class of 1990 had more Jewish members - 34 - but there were fewer Jewish senators at the time.

Crunching the numbers; a short analysis of America's vote

They're saying now that the total number of votes will be 126 million, once all the mail-in ballots are in. 122 million votes were cast in 2004. Turnout in terms of percent-of-total-eligible was unchanged. (This could be why they failed to mention numbers much on TV-- an unchanged turnout, hovering at 60%, does NOT fit the Obama-Messianic narrative!).
Exit-Polls said that 26% of voters were nonwhite in 2008, vs. 23% in 2004.
Nonwhites broke 83-17 in favor of Obama in 2008 ; 73-27 for Kerry in 2004.

With all that data in hand, do the math and you'll find :

The amazing, untold story of the election: Several million white Republicans that voted in 2004 stayed home. There was no general movement towards Obama by whites, but there was a "movement" by white-Republicans to simply sit it out, and they did. (There was a net-Loss of "only" 1 million white votes, but it could very well that there were 7 or 8 million white-Republican-"stayers-home" who voted last time but not in this election. These millions of white-Republicans presumably stayed home because of how utterly disgusted they were with the "opposition" to the nonwhite/nonAmerican Hussein-Obama, in the form of the horrible John "Amnesty" McCain. This also explains why almost all counties in the country saw rises in Democrat vote-shares, even in places like North Dakota, which has no nonwhites at all: because every seventh or eighth (or whatever number it is) white-Republican who voted last time simply refused to vote this time.

Final Analysis: Turnout surged among nonwhites; increased among white-Democrats due to "Obamaniac" young voters; and declined significantly among white-Republicans, a fair portion of whom flatly refused to cast a vote for McCain.

Decline in white voting out of righteous 'political digust' is, of course, good news. Certainly for those like Prozium, who believes that the pathetic state of the "opposition" must be delegitimized, that a new one can arise. Or, at least, that the clownish McCain Wing of the Republican Party needs to fall on its proverbial sword, ASAP. Because these numbers prove that such people can't be serious Republican candidates...they'll induce their people to stay home.

It warms my heart to hear that the press is right behind Obama, ready to quickly discard any bit of information which could damage the Obama-Messiah's reputation. No, actually, it doesn't warm my heart...it scares me.

Slavery reparations? What a great idea!

Henry Louis Gates Jr., the chairman of Afro- American Studies at Harvard, is demanding that whites pay reparations to blacks. It's because of slavery, see. He is joined in this endeavor by a gaggle of other professional blacks. I guess he'll send me a bill, huh?

I feel like saying, "Let me get this straight, Hank. I'm slow. Be patient. You want free money because of slavery, right? I don't blame you." I'd like free money too. Tell you what. I believe in justice. I'll give you a million dollars for every slave I own, and another million for every year you were a slave. Fair enough? But tell me, how many slaves do you suppose I have? In round numbers, I mean...Say to the nearest dozen. And how long were you a slave?

Oh.

In other words, I owe you reparations for something that I didn't do and didn't happen to you. That makes sense. Like lug nuts on a birthday cake! Personally, I think you owe me reparations for things you didn't do and never happened to me. I've never been coated in Dutch chocolate and thrown from the Eiffel Tower. I'll bet you've never done it to anyone. I want reparations. Kinda silly, isn't it? But if we're going to talk about reparations, that's a street that runs in two directions. You want money from me for what some other whites did to some other blacks in another century. How about you guys paying whites reparations for current expenses caused by blacks? Not long ago blacks burned down half of Los Angeles, a city in my country. Cities are expensive, Hank. Build one sometime and you'll see what I mean. Whites had to pay taxes to repair Los Angeles for you. You can send me a check.

Now, yes, I know you burned LA because you didn't like the verdict in the trial of those police officers. Well, I didn't like the verdict in the Simpson trial. But I didn't burn my house and loot Korean grocers. Over the years blacks have burned a lot of American cities: Newark, Detroit, Philadelphia, on and on. Now add in the fantastic cost over the years of welfare in all its forms, of large police forces and jails and security systems in department stores.

I can't live in the capital city of my own country because of crime committed by blacks. Toss in the cultural cost of lowering standards in everything for the benefit of blacks. See what I mean? Now, I'd view things differently if you said, "Fred, blacks can't get anywhere in a modern country without education. We know that. We need better schools, smarter teachers, harder courses, books with smaller pictures and bigger words. Can you help us?" I'd say, "Hallelujah! Hoo-ahh! Not just "yes", but "hell yes". Let's sell an aircraft carrier and get these folks some real schools and get them into the economic mainstream." I'd say it partly because it would be the right thing to do, and partly, because I'd like to add you guys to the tax base.

The current custodial state is expensive. I'd just love for blacks to study and learn to compete and stop burning places. But is it going to happen? You may not believe it, but I, and most whites, don't like seeing blacks as miserable and screwed up as some are. I spend a fair amount of time in the projects. Those places are ugly. It's no fun watching perfectly good kids turn into semiliterate dope dealers who barely speak English. It just plain ain't right. But, Hank, what am I supposed to do about it? I can't do your children's homework...at some point, people have to do things for themselves, or they don't get done. Maybe it's time.

I'll tell you what I see out in the world, Hank. I think blacks are too accustomed to getting anything they want by just demanding it. True, it has worked for over half a century. Get a few hundred people in the street, implicitly threaten to loot and burn, holler about slavery, and the Great White Cash Spigot turns on. Thing is, whites don't much buy it any longer. Most recognize that what once was a civil-rights movement has become a shakedown game. Few people still feel responsible for the failings and inadequacies of blacks. Political correctness keeps the lid on -- but everyone knows the score. Which scares me, Hank.

On one hand, we have blacks who hate whites and are inclined towards looting and burning. On the other hand, whites quietly grow wearier and wearier of it. Not good. On the third hand (allow me three hands, for rhetorical convenience), blacks keep demanding things. As I write, you demand reparations for slavery. Blacks in Oklahoma (I think it was) want money for some ancient race riot. Other blacks reject the Declaration of Independence, blacks in New York hint broadly at burning and looting over a trial, yet more demand the elimination of the Confederate flag, and the federal equal opportunity apparatus, which means blacks, wants to sue Silicon Valley for not hiring nonexistent black engineers. That's a lot of demanding for one month, Hank. Since it seldom happens, can you imagine what would happen if whites were to continuously say "No"?

Now, how about you? You've got a cushy job up there at Harvard, and you can hoot and holler about what swine and bandits whites are. I guess it's lots of fun, and you get a salary for it. But don't you think you might do blacks more good if you told them to complain less and study more? For example, if you want blacks to work in Silicon Gulch, the best approach might be to find some really smart black guys, and get them to study digital design, not Black Studies. That's how everybody else does it. It works. Then blacks wouldn't feel left out, and racial tension would decline. Sound like a plan?

Just out of curiosity, how many hours a week do professors of Afro-American Studies spend in the projects, encouraging poor black kids to study real-life, "sho-nuf" subjects instead of peddling a hatred of whites?

Die Bundesregierung hat sich den so genannten Kampf gegen Rechts in den letzten sieben Jahren ein bisschen was kosten lassen, das geht aus einer kleinen Anfrage der PDS-Bundestagsfraktion hervor. Demnach wurden rund 200 Millionen Euro verprasst, die über das Unternehmen „Xenos – Integration und Vielfalt“ unter ein paar hundert Organisationen aufgeteilt worden sind.

Wie die JUNGE FREIHEIT berichtet, fördert Xenos momentan bundesweit 261 politisch-korrekte Unternehmen, deren Tätigkeit sich vornehmlich darauf beschränken Ausstellungen und Vorträge an öffentlichen Einrichtungen wie Verwaltungen und Schulen durchzuführen. Die meisten dieser vermeintlichen Projekte gegen Rechts werden demnach in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Berlin und Baden-Württemberg finanziert. Vom bösen “braunen Osten” also keine Spur, was aber durchaus verwundert, hatte Bundesfamilienministerin Ursula von der Leyen die Ausgaben gegen Rechts erst im vergangenen Jahr auf 24 Millionen Euro erhöht, maßgeblich wegen den Auseinandersetzungen auf dem Stadtfest im sächsischen Mügeln im August 2007.

Die insgesamt verprassten 200 Millionen Euro dienen der Bundesregierung lediglich als Alibizweck, sich nicht nachsagen lassen zu müssen auf dem rechten Auge blind zu sein. Dennoch wäre es mal interessant zu erfahren, was mit dieser gewaltigen Summe eigentlich angestellt worden ist. Schließlich sind 200 Millionen Euro wohl kaum damit zu rechtfertigen, mal hier und mal da so genannte Wanderausstellungen, Workshops oder ähnliches durchgeführt zu haben, so dass sich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hier wohl in einer deutlichen Schieflage befinden dürfte. So liegen wir wohl nicht falsch wenn wir annehmen, dass mit dem Geld der Lebensunterhalt politisch-überkorrekter Zeitgenossen finanziert wird, die es ansonsten zu nichts gebracht haben. Denn schließlich soll ja auch politische Korrektheit durchaus seinen Preis haben, oder anders ausgedrückt, sich auch bezahlt machen.

Von solchen Begünstigungen in Zukunft ausgeschlossen, ist EXIT-Chef Bernd Wagner, dessen Lebensunterhalt in den letzten acht Jahren auch aus den staatlichen Futtertrögen gegen rechts finanziert worden ist.(weiter)
